Top 100 Drone Defense Companies in 2025

In an era where unmanned systems define the next frontier of warfare and intelligence, The Defense Post is unveiling its definitive list of the Top 100 Companies Advancing Drone Technology across air, ground, and sea.

93. Acecore Technologies – Netherlands

Acecore Technologies, a Dutch manufacturer established in 2013, has carved a niche in the professional drone market by developing high-performance, robust unmanned aerial vehicles.

While initially gaining recognition in cinematography, its focus has expanded significantly to encompass demanding industrial and governmental applications, including defense and security.

Acecore’s drones are known for their vertical take-off and landing capabilities, modular design, and all-weather resilience, enabling them to operate effectively in challenging environments. Their commitment to “elevating drones” reflects their mission to provide advanced, reliable platforms that exceed the limitations of conventional systems.

In the defense sector, Acecore Technologies offers purpose-built solutions designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, situational awareness, and even mine detection.

Its Zoe M4 quadcopter, for instance, has been supplied to the Royal Netherlands Army for critical tasks such as bridge assessments and troop movement support, providing real-time 2D and 3D mapping capabilities.

This military-grade drone is equipped with advanced EO/IR gimbals (like the NextVision Raptor X80 with 80x zoom and high-resolution thermal imaging) and can be controlled via their rugged, military-grade Signav Ultra ground station, with configurable radio options to fit existing military networks.

Acecore’s drones are also NDAA compliant, further solidifying their suitability for governmental and military operations.

Notably, Acecore has also contributed to mine detection efforts, with six of their Noa drones, equipped with UMAG Solutions’ magnetic mine-detection scanners, being provided to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for life-saving demining operations.
