UAVision, a Portuguese company established in 2005, has grown into a leading developer and manufacturer of unmanned aerial systems and their critical subsystems.
Its comprehensive in-house capabilities, spanning from autopilot systems and ground control software to aeronautical design, production, and advanced communication and sensor technologies, allow them to provide highly customized and reliable solutions.
UAVision initially focused on commercial applications but entered the defense market in 2016, collaborating extensively with the Portuguese Air Force and Navy, which has significantly enhanced their military-grade product offerings.
In the defense sector, UAVision provides a robust portfolio of UAVs designed for demanding military operations.
Its OGASSA OGS42 is a prominent military-grade fixed-wing UAS designed for long-endurance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, with an extended version offering up to 16 hours of autonomy.
The OGASSA OGS42V is a hybrid VTOL variant developed for maritime and ship-based operations, proving successful in integration with Portuguese Navy vessels.
UAVision also offers the SPYRO GS, a hybrid VTOL UAS capable of operating in challenging land and sea environments, with impressive endurance and a military-grade C2 system integrated with ship tactical systems.
Its platforms are equipped with in-house developed, NATO STANAG 4609 compliant EO/IR gimbals (UGS series) featuring advanced capabilities like automatic target tracking and AI-based classification, and robust communication systems (StormComm) for secure, long-range data links.
UAVision’s systems have accumulated thousands of flight hours in operational missions, including critical forest fire monitoring for Portugal and participation in NATO exercises.
