23. Insitu – United States
Insitu, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is an American company specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of unmanned aerial systems.
With over 1.5 million operational flight hours logged in real-world environments, Insitu has established itself as a trusted provider of versatile and agile uncrewed aircraft for defense and government customers globally.
Its approach emphasizes full-suite platforms, robust payloads, powerful software, and comprehensive on-site or remote services, providing end-to-end solutions for critical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance needs.

Insitu’s primary defense drone offerings include the ScanEagle, Integrator, and the RQ-21A Blackjack.
The ScanEagle is a small, long-endurance UAS renowned for its persistent ISR capabilities in extreme environments, often deployed from both land and sea using a pneumatic catapult launcher and recovered by the “Skyhook” system.
The Integrator, which also serves as the basis for the US Navy and Marine Corps’ RQ-21A Blackjack, is a more versatile platform with extended endurance and payload capacity, capable of operating from confined spaces, including small naval vessels, and increasingly featuring advanced satellite communication for extended range and kinetic capabilities.
Beyond the aircraft, Insitu provides essential support systems like their Common Ground Control Station, various electro-optical and infrared payloads (such as Alticam and ViDAR), and software solutions like TacitView and Catalina for media management and analysis.
It also offers extensive training and support packages, ensuring seamless integration and operation of their systems for diverse military missions.
