A 20mm Land-Based Phalanx Weapon System, operated by the 218th Field Artillery Regiment assigned to Task Force Armadillo, fires a Pre-Action Calibration Firing (PACFIRE) exercise at Al-Tanf Garrison, Syria, on Feb. 26, 2025. The PACFIRE exercise calibrates the entire system to ensure that rounds fired are accurate and on target during engagements.
