CenCore to Supply Modular Buildings for US Navy

Infrastructure company CenCore has signed a $44-million contract to provide modular buildings for “vital mission requirements” to the US Navy.

Under the deal, the firm will design, manufacture, and install up to eight relocatable hubs for the Naval Information Warfare Center – Atlantic, which manages acquisition, engineering, sustainment, and distribution of information warfare capabilities for the joint force’s naval missions.

Each single-story facility will span about 4,800 square feet (446 square meters) and sit on existing concrete pads.

The order will be shipped across the agency’s multiple sites in Charleston, South Carolina.

CenCore said the prefabricated structures will provide secure, scalable space that can be deployed faster than traditional construction, helping reduce supply chain risks tied to foreign dependence.

“This achievement represents an important milestone for CenCore,” CenCore CEO Adam Fife said.

“We remain committed to proactively addressing national security threats and supply chain risks. CenCore’s modular solutions offer rapid deployment, resilience, and high-level integration.”
