Netherlands to Repurpose Train Cars for Battlefield Medical Use

The Dutch Ministry of Defence is negotiating the procurement of decommissioned train cars to convert them into mobile platforms for wounded troop transport.

UK LEAD MAJOR MILITARY EXERCISE OFF COAST OF SCOTLAND Europe’s largest military exercise is geared up with the arrival of NATO ships to HMNB Clyde. Excersise Joint Warrior will to take place off the coast of Scotland over the next 13 days. Joint Warrior is a multinational exercise, hosted in the UK and incorporates all three of the Armed Forces – the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force. The exercise will begin on 3rd of October and will engage numerous warships, submarines, fixed wing aircraft, and a total of around 13,000 personnel from the various participating nations. Ships, submarines, aircraft and ground troops from the UK, US and other allies will be taking part, battling each other at sea, in the air and on land in an area which stretches from the Irish Sea, north to Cape Wrath and east to the Moray Firth. Exercise Joint Warrior represents a valuable opportunity to demonstrate the range of capabilities available for contingency operations and provides excellent training which tests the high readiness capabilities of the Armed Forces.
