US Army, Tech Firms Test AI Cyber Defenses to Outpace Human Response
During a new tabletop exercise at the Pentagon, military officials and executives from some of the world’s largest tech companies examined how agentic AI systems could respond to large-scale cyberattacks faster than human operators.
The second iteration of the exercise, AI TTX 2.0, was hosted by the Office of the Principal Cyber Advisor and included participation from Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto Networks.
It also brought together army leadership and defense organizations, including US Cyber Command and US Army Cyber Command.
