Maris-Tech Secures Contract for Situational Awareness, Drone Video Systems

Maris-Tech has secured a contract from an undisclosed government defense organization to provide systems for situational awareness and aerial video applications.

The Israeli firm, which specializes in video processing and AI-enabled edge computing, will deliver existing hardware while also developing software based on its Diamond Ultra and Jupiter platforms.

Diamond Ultra is designed to provide integrated situational awareness, while the Jupiter platform supports drone-based video processing.

Perimeter Defense

The systems are intended for perimeter defense and other security applications where real-time video intelligence can support operational decision-making.

Maris-Tech said the work will include both deployment of its current technologies and customization to meet the client’s requirements.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract.

Growing Defense Demand

The award follows several other defense-related engagements announced by Maris-Tech in early 2026.

These include a pilot contract to integrate its situational awareness technology into an infantry fighting vehicle modernization program, as well as a production order for drone video processing systems from another defense manufacturer.

The developments reflect broader demand for embedded AI-driven sensor and video processing solutions across unmanned systems and ground vehicles.
