CACI to Support US Army’s Electronic Warfare Efforts Under $79M Contract

CACI International has received a three-year task order worth up to $79 million to support the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) in countering electronic warfare (EW) threats.

The company will help DEVCOM’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance center develop and integrate tools that improve soldiers’ capabilities through systems engineering and technology development.

The work includes expertise in EW and radio-frequency operations, focusing on boosting explosive ordnance disposal survivability and advancing electronic countermeasures (ECM).

These efforts aim to ensure EW and ECM systems work together effectively, enhancing warfighter survivability and combat performance.

“In the dynamic and ever-growing EW threat landscape, there is a critical need for our military to stay ahead of threats by identifying and analyzing them immediately,” said John Mengucci, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer.

CACI’s Work Across US Military

The contract builds on CACI’s broader portfolio of ongoing work across multiple domains for US forces.

In October last year, the company secured a $314-million contract to provide engineering services for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, focusing on technological development, delivery, and personnel training.

The work includes project management, systems integration, logistics, cyber solutions, and analysis.

Two months earlier, CACI accepted a $239-million task order to provide intelligence analysis and operations support to the US Army.

The six-year Theater Military Intelligence Support Services project provides both all-source and specialized intelligence support for the US European Command and US Africa Command areas of responsibility.

Earlier the same year, CACI received a task order valued at up to $414 million to provide unmanned systems support for DEVCOM.

The contract involves assessing available unmanned solutions, delivering countermeasure strategies at tactical and operational levels, and supplying technical expertise and insights on emerging threats to the army and US joint forces.
