Embraer to Integrate ILIAS Software Suite for C-390 and A-29 Aircraft
Embraer will integrate ILIAS Solutions’ software suite for maintenance and logistics into the C‑390 Millennium and A‑29 Super Tucano fleets.
Delivering analytics that optimize data-driven decision-making, the software suite consolidates fleet status into a single source of operational inputs, providing real-time information for all platforms.
The initiative aims to support armed forces in centralizing data across operations, maintenance, and the supply chain, improving resource allocation and mission readiness.
“This partnership reinforces Embraer collaboration with the Netherlands industry base, and at the same time, allows us to offer to our customers a state-of-the-art fleet management solution to support our aircraft,” said Douglas Lobo, VP Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales, Embraer Services & Support.
ILIAS Solutions has offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, the US, Denmark, and Australia.
It also recently formed a partnership with the Finnish company Patria.
Embraer aircraft are used by air forces worldwide, including those of NATO member countries.
Expanding Capabilities, Global Footprint
The Brazilian firm is expanding its systems capabilities while strengthening new partnerships.
Embraer is upgrading the A-29 Super Tucano with counter-drone features to broaden its mission set against unmanned threats.
The upgrade integrates new systems with existing A-29 capabilities, including datalinks for initial target data and sensors for laser tracking and designation.
It also adds laser-guided rockets and wing-mounted .50-caliber machine guns for engaging unmanned aerial systems.
Earlier this month, the firm delivered the second C-390 Millennium to the Hungarian Air Force at Kecskemét Air Base, completing the country’s order.
It also announced plans to establish a C-390 completion center in the United Arab Emirates to provide maintenance, repair, and operational support for the aircraft.
