Poland Receives First ARSUS 100 Recon Systems From Turkey’s Aselsan
Poland has received its first batch of ARSUS 100 reconnaissance and surveillance systems from Turkish defense firm Aselsan.
Integrated onto locally built AMZ KUTNO vehicles, the ARSUS 100 provides high-resolution imaging, all-weather and day-night operations, long-range communications, and moving-target tracking.
The system is designed for a wide range of missions, from border security and reconnaissance to protecting key infrastructure.
Aselsan described the system as a cyber-resilient solution suited for NATO-level interoperability.
Deliveries will continue through 2026 and 2027 under an ongoing contract between Aselsan and Polish defense partners.
The deployment aligns with Poland’s growing emphasis on sensor-based reconnaissance and situational awareness technologies as part of its broader modernization of ground forces.
Poland’s Recent Defense Procurement Drive
Warsaw has accelerated defense spending over the past year, signing multibillion-euro contracts to expand its land, air, and missile defense capabilities.
In 2025, Poland received more K2 Black Panther tanks from South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem and has continued receiving K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers.
The government also finalized orders for US F-35A Lightning II fighter jets and AH-64E Apache helicopters, along with Raytheon’s Patriot PAC-3 missile defense batteries.
Earlier this year, Poland inked a deal with Saab to acquire additional 3D surveillance radars.
