AM General has rolled out an updated Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer System, a lighter and more mobile artillery platform built around the needs of modern operations.
Unveiled at AUSA 2025, the redesigned system features a new chassis, upgraded powertrain, and a digital fire-control suite aimed at giving small units faster, more flexible fire support.
It can move into position, fire, and relocate in under 90 seconds, allowing crews to avoid counterbattery fire while keeping up a steady rate of fire.
