Self-Propelled Marine Platform From UK Can Haul Armor, Stay Afloat Under Fire

UK-based marine engineering firm ScaffFloat has launched the MilFloat, a multi-role floating system built for rapid deployment and adaptable military use.

The 16-meter by 6.4-meter (52-foot by 21-foot) self-propelled platform can be shipped in standard containers or moved by flatbed trailers. It can haul up to 30 tonnes (66,138 pounds) and stay afloat even under direct fire.

In company-provided imagery, the MilFloat is shown carrying a CVT FV103 Spartan armored personnel carrier, highlighting its heavy-lift capability.
