EDGE Tests Advanced Imaging System That Tracks, Localizes Targets in Any Light

UAE-based defense conglomerate EDGE has completed a field trial of the MIRSAD-X, a multi-spectral surveillance and targeting system capable of seeing across visible and invisible light.

The system can detect, identify, and localize targets in real time using its electro-optics imager. It also supports laser targeting for guided munitions with a gyro-stabilized base for steady tracking.

MIRSAD-X is compatible with various ground and maritime platforms, enabling precise targeting for both naval and land units.
