US Navy Selects HII for Training Deal Worth Up to $267M
HII’s Mission Technologies division has won a multiple-award contract worth up to $267 million to provide training products and services for the US Navy.
The deal allows HII to bid for task orders supporting the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center and other naval training commands.
The contract covers curriculum development, learning management systems such as Navy e-learning, and other tools to support sailor training, career development, and force readiness in line with evolving mission requirements.
“Sailor training and professional development are mission-critical, especially when it comes to force protection and combat readiness,” said Michael Lempke, president of HII’s Mission Technologies’ Global Security business.
“This initiative empowers sailors with the technical skills they need to perform at the highest level, while opening doors for career advancement and lifelong learning,” added Lempke.
