Northrop to Equip US Forces With Advanced Mission Planning Tech for Multi-Domain Ops

Northrop Grumman is building out the next wave of mission planning systems for the US Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, with a $180 million contract focused on smarter, faster operations across domains.

The company will leverage automation and data analysis to improve how troops assess risks, plan routes, and respond to changing threats in real time.

The air force gets the bigger share: $115 million for a next-generation global strike mission planning system under the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program. The platform promises real-time threat and situational awareness data to speed up decision-making.
