V2X Secures Spot on $25B Pentagon Engineering and Technology Contract

V2X has landed a role in a $25-billion Pentagon engineering and tech initiative aimed at modernizing legacy systems, addressing microelectronics obsolescence, and accelerating AI adoption.

The Advanced Technology Support Program 5 (ATSP5) provides a contracting vehicle for federal and state agencies to issue task orders covering a wide range of technical services.

The scope includes system studies, design and prototyping, integration, testing, and limited production.

It also covers lifecycle support for embedded systems, network-centric warfare capabilities, and large-scale system integrations.

Focus on Engineering and Modernization

Under ATSP5, V2X will be eligible to compete for task orders in systems engineering, digital prototyping, automated testing, performance optimization, and microelectronics assurance.

The company said its work will support defense priorities such as rapid acquisition and technology integration across multiple operational domains.

V2X joins a group of contractors positioned to help the Pentagon upgrade legacy systems while incorporating advanced computing, autonomous technologies, and AI-driven tools.

ATSP5 is expected to play a central role in advancing defense technology development and transition programs in the coming years.
