Could Ukrainian troops operate at night with day-like vision? Kyiv is betting on that possibility, clearing a new set of monoculars for military use.
The MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 monoculars feature advanced optics capable of spotting enemy personnel up to 500 meters (1,640 feet) and equipment at ranges of 2 kilometers (1.2 miles).
They are positioned as versatile tools, helping troops navigate difficult terrain, see things closer and clearer during equipment checks and repairs, and act as an extra set of eyes for enhanced situational awareness in low-visibility conditions.
