Turkey’s Latest Counter-Drone System ‘Fires 3,000 Rounds Per Minute’

Turkey is introducing a new deterrent for hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs): a remotely controlled weapon system (RCWS) reportedly capable of unleashing 3,000 rounds per minute.

The Trakon Lite 134 pairs an AI-enabled target tracking suite with an M134 multi-barrel machine gun built to NATO standards, positioning it as a compact, hard-kill option against fast-moving UAVs.

Developed by Turkish firm Unirobotics, the RCWS integrates Echodyne’s EchoGuard radar for automatic detection and tracking of multiple aerial targets across a wide area.
