L3Harris is giving military forces new eyes for night missions with its Nova binoculars, a device the company said is built for the “everyday soldier.”
Nova is the commercial variant of the company’s BiNOD (Binocular Night Observation Device), reflecting a push toward a lower-cost, easier-to-field binocular design intended to scale across the US Army and allied forces.
A key differentiator is maintainability. The device is designed to be easily repaired, requiring users to remove just four screws to swap out damaged components such as internal intensification tubes.
