Israel Develops Advanced Border Defense System With Human-Machine Control
Israel’s latest border defense system brings drones, sensors, and real-time AI coordination to the frontline, letting operators respond faster and smarter to emerging threats.
Developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), the system pulls in information from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), radars, and a suite of electro-optical sensors, then analyzes it to curate rapid responses along contested border regions.
All information feeds into a joint command-and-control (C2) architecture, monitored and managed by a small team of human operators.
