India is rolling out a new battlefield partner: a rugged, homegrown robot built to take on the missions soldiers dread the most.
The SapperScout Ver 2.0 is a fully unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) engineered for multiple frontline tasks while keeping soldiers out of harm’s way.
Weighing roughly 380 kilograms (838 pounds), it uses advanced sensors, ultrasonic detectors, and AI-driven controls to navigate obstacles and follow planned routes.
