Airbus Unveils French Army Caïman Special Ops Helicopter Prototype

Airbus has unveiled the prototype of the French Army’s NH90 Caïman Standard 2 multirole helicopter at an international special operations exhibit in Martignas-sur-Jalle.

Recruits from Raffa company are on their final testing exercise in Waiouru Military Training Area (WMTA)- open country defensive phase. The recruits are inserted into the area of operation from Taihape by 3 Squadrons NH90 Helicopters. One section fits in each air frame, requiring the company to be infilled in three 'taps' of three NH90's.
