Forterra Builds Driverless Military Vehicle That Can Haul 2,000 Pounds Into the Field

As modern warfare pushes into more hazardous environments, Forterra is introducing a new autonomous vehicle designed to operate out “to the last tactical mile.”

Called MESA, the platform features a flat-deck design with L-Track mounting and can carry payloads of up to 2,000 pounds (907 kilograms).

Built on the Polaris Ranger XD 1500, it incorporates AutoDrive and Vektor modules to enable secure connectivity in territories where GPS is unavailable.
