A Russian drone attack killed one woman in the northeastern Ukraine border region of Sumy, local military officials said Wednesday.
The strikes “deliberately aimed at residential buildings” caused large-scale fires, and “a 60-year-old resident of one of the buildings died from carbon monoxide poisoning”, the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Grygorov, said on Telegram.
He said residents were evacuated from the building, and two received medical assistance.
