Ukraine Expands e-Points Program, Rewarding Units for Battlefield Success
Ukraine has expanded its e-Points system, a performance-based incentive program that awards military units digital credits for verified battlefield results.
Units can redeem points to acquire equipment, giving frontline troops faster access to Ukrainian-made drones, electronic warfare gear, and ground robotic platforms.
The update broadens activities that generate points and introduces new ways to spend them, including on individual components rather than only complete systems.
Procurement has also been accelerated, with advance payments to manufacturers and delivery timelines shortened to roughly 10 days.
Under the mechanism, units earn points for confirmed enemy losses, including personnel and military assets, verified via photo or video evidence.
The system is integrated with the Brave1 platform, a government-backed marketplace for Ukrainian defense technologies, particularly drones, which has processed orders exceeding 20 billion hryvnia ($450 million).
Expanded e-Points System
The expansion also enlarges the “Army of Drones Bonus” program, widening the range of battlefield activities eligible for earning e-Points.
Units can now earn points for sniper activity, selected air defense tasks, and army aviation missions.
A bonus rewards innovative use of unmanned systems, helping accelerate the adoption of effective tactics.
In parallel, Kyiv has expanded how e-Points can be used.
Points can now be exchanged for individual components, including cameras, receivers, signal repeaters, navigation and power systems, payload release mechanisms, controllers, and software.
Manufacturers can now receive up to 70 percent of payments in advance, supporting increased production capacity, while delivery timelines have been cut to approximately 10 days.
This shift is intended to provide greater flexibility, allowing units to adapt systems to specific operational requirements and ensuring that technological resources can better match real-time battlefield needs.
