Puma LE Drone Gets New ‘Eyes’ and ‘Brain’ for GPS-Jammed Missions

AV’s Puma Long Endurance (LE) drone can now fly confidently through GPS jamming, thanks to the company’s newest navigation upgrade.

The firm has fitted the small unmanned aerial system with its Visual Navigation System (VNS) that keeps it on course even when GPS goes dark.

The VNS kit uses downward-facing cameras, sensors, onboard processing, and real-time terrain mapping to navigate independently of satellite signals.
