PDW to Supply C100 Unmanned Aerial Systems to US Air Force

The US Air Force’s 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing (AGOW), based at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, has contracted PDW to supply its C100 multi-mission unmanned aerial systems.

It marks PDW’s first C100 deal with the air force and follows a $20.9-million US Army contract awarded in September 2025 for the same small quadcopter drones.

PDW CEO and co-founder Ryan Gury described the C100 as “the perfect system” to meet the service’s demand for rapidly deployable, multi-mission, and advanced, modular aerial platforms.

“The 93rd AGOW’s operational diversity is a perfect match for the C100’s modular payload ecosystem and unmatched performance across a range of mission profiles,” he added.

The C100

Classified as a Group 2 uncrewed aerial system, the modular C100 features multi-domain command and control, a top speed of 40 miles (64 kilometers) per hour, and an operational range of more than 10 kilometers (6 miles).

Capable of up to 74 minutes of flight time and with a 10-pound (4.5-kilogram) payload capacity, the multi-mission drone can be configured to conduct electronic warfare and kinetic effects, as well as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

These capabilities enable “rapid adaptation and overmatch to evolving threats the Air Force faces across the globe,” said Gury.

The C100 is also included in the Pentagon’s Blue UAS List, which designates secure and trusted drones for Department of Defense use.
