Anduril’s New Seoul Office Marks Major Push in AI-Enabled Indo-Pacific Defense

Anduril Industries is stepping up its game in South Korea, opening a new office in Seoul as part of its plan to lead an AI-driven defense push across the Indo-Pacific.

The expansion centers on harnessing AI tech and autonomous systems — solutions the Korean Ministry of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff prioritize as critical to deterring and winning future conflicts.

To steer the initiative, Anduril appointed John Kim as vice president and head of Anduril Korea. Kim, a former interim president of Boeing Korea, brings extensive experience in both the US military and South Korean defense sectors.
