Saab is stepping up the Carl-Gustaf recoilless rifle’s anti-armor role with a new round designed to defeat the heavily protected vehicles on the modern battlefield.
The HEAT 758 features a dual-charge warhead meant to first damage explosive reactive armor of tanks before penetrating their main hull.
The second charge can go up against 700mm of armor, positioning it against some of the most resilient armored platforms fielded by adversaries.
