The Robotic Exclusion & Engagement Framework (REEF) is a joint initiative from the two Western powers aimed at adapting commercial technologies for the protection of ports, harbors, waterways, and expeditionary forces.
It lays out requirements for systems capable of taking out hostile autonomous underwater vehicles, remotely operated platforms, and semi-submersibles.
