US Firm Showcases New Cargo Drone Capable of Flying Into High-Threat Zones

US forces could soon rely on a new cargo drone to take over high-risk supply missions, keeping troops out of the crosshairs while operating in the world’s most dangerous environments.

California-based Pyka recently showcased its DropShip platform in a demonstration with the US Armed Forces and first responders, highlighting its ability to operate autonomously in contested airspace.

The drone is designed to support tactical resupply, asset transfer, and medical evacuation missions in areas too risky for personnel to enter.
