Asia-Pacific User Buys Hundreds of SMARTSHOOTER SMASH 3000 Fire Control Systems

Israeli firm SMARTSHOOTER has won a large order for hundreds of its SMASH 3000 fire control systems from an Asia-Pacific customer.

The devices will support counter-small unmanned aircraft systems missions and precision ground-target engagement, the company said.

Before placing the order, the customer conducted extensive operational testing and evaluations, reporting high satisfaction with the system’s performance.

In its announcement, the Haifa-based firm highlighted that the acquisition reflects the country’s confidence in its technology and its ability to counter emerging battlefield threats while enhancing personal defense for dismounted troops.

“This order is a testament to the operational value of the SMASH 3000 and its ability to deliver unmatched precision in today’s dynamic battlefield,” SMARTSHOOTER CEO Michal Mor said.

“We look forward to supporting our customer’s evolving operational needs, and we are confident this milestone may pave the way for additional future orders.”

Transforming Weapons

SMARTSHOOTER’s SMASH systems combine artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced algorithms to turn conventional firearms into smart, precision-shooting platforms.

Using an onboard computer, they lock onto targets, track their movements, and synchronize shot release for rapid and accurate engagement.

The SMASH family enhances mission effectiveness, improves situational awareness, and ensures every shot counts.

The line includes handheld, remotely operated, and unmanned ground vehicle-mounted variants. The SMASH 3000, unveiled in 2022, is the lightest platform in the portfolio.

Different SMASH configurations are now operational with forces in the US, Israel, Europe, the UK, and other NATO countries, giving troops greater precision, situational awareness, and battlefield connectivity.
